It’s 1922, and Europe is striving to rise from the shadows of the Great War. Amid the rebuilding, two watchmaking visionaries — Léon Leroy and John Harwood — vied to create the world’s first automatic wristwatch. Before this, every watch required daily winding. Leroy cracked the code first, inventing a motion-powered self-winding mechanism. Yet history favoured Harwood, leaving Leroy’s brilliance largely forgotten.

To honour this unsung pioneer, we’ve recreated Leroy’s innovation with a modern twist. The Leroy Automatic Chronograph is a self-winding masterpiece, celebrating the elegance and precision of 1920s watchmaking. Every detail is inspired by the era: a rose gold-plated case, black dial with gold accents, and smooth sweeping second hand signalling a handcrafted 27-jewel movement. This watch is more than a timepiece — it’s a piece of history revived for today’s collector.
